Lisa Edelstein was an American actress, best known as the star of Fox's House medical drama. She was raised in Wayne, in a conservative Jewish tradition. At the age of 18 she moved in New York City to study at the Tisch School for the Arts. She soon became part of the New York club scene and began becoming the talk of the town. Press also took notice of her. Her experiences and fame to compose and write the musical called Positive Me in which she played a role in. Soon after, she was offered a job at MTV, hosting Awake to the Wild Side. After the show ended, she started appearing in films and television productions beginning with small parts, but gradually establishing her place as an actor.
