Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe is the daughter of the mixed race family of South London in England. Her mother and father are both English. She grew on the South London community estate, as a teenager, she fourteen, she attended The Brit School. She attended an academy called the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London in which she earned an BA in acting. She was on stage in several productions as a student such as the King Henry V, as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her acting career in the movie Storm Damage. In the years since Madekwe's appearance in Teachers and Doctors. Her breakthrough role came in 2007's Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream. It was opposite Colin Farrell (who played the role of Cassandra) as well as Ewan McGrath. In the following year she portrayed Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally she was a part of Trexx as Ollie as well as six episodes of Flipside. She played Bambi in The ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was a part of the comedy How to Lose Friends and alienate others (2008). A couple of her credits on stage are Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) and Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe had her official US debut on the drama The Beautiful Life, which only aired two episodes in the US on The CW before being cancelled. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge in February of 2011. The show premiered in May 2013 and it was announced that Madekwe, who been a series regular in the past two seasons, would be leaving the show after a guest-appearance in the premier episode of the new season. From 2014-2016, Madekwe starred as Tituba in the TV series Salem. Her long-time friend, Iddo, married Madekwe in June 2012. They've worked together on Secret Diary of a Call Girl and also was a character in the television series Salem.
Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actress, who was born into a big family. She was the daughter of Roy and Patty Leggat. Her family included both parents Roy and Patty along with four of their older brothers: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. The four brothers of Ashley, all very athletic, played hockey during the winters and baseball in the summers, meaning she basically grew up in arenas and baseball parks. Ashley could not walk but danced. As a result, as she grew older She discovered Baby Ballet. Ashley was captivated by dance when she was just a few years old. Until she graduated from high school, Ashley danced competitively in the highest divisions of tap, jazz, ballet and pointe as well as acrobatics, musical theatre, lyrical, and hip hop. She was the top soloist in major competitions such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, were all awarded to Ashley.
