Harry

Harry Edward Styles - also called Harry Styles - is a British musician and composer. Harry Styles has been recognized for his compositions in The One Direction band. Harry Styles was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on the 1st of February 1994. He is the child of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, and with his three classmates, formed a music group dubbed White Eskimo. In 2009 they participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their excellent presentations they took home the trophy. Though he's been interested in music, he was also interested in becoming an lawyer or physiotherapist. He was employed at a local bakery part-time in order to provide for his family. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in the year 2010 and was a part of Is not She Lovely, an iconic Stevie Wonder song. He was chosen. This was the reason that his band broke up. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who recommended Harry Styles to be part a future group called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to create the group in 2010. The group was backed by Simon Cowell and performed Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. The group was among the most competitive groups in the competition. The band was in the third place just behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle, who took home the prize. Harry Styles, his group and Cowell didn't get the win in the contest. However, Cowell provided Harry Styles a 2 million dollar contract with Syco.
