Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish, half-English woman was born April 16, 1996 in Miami Florida. A half English mixed with Spanish She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Her father, an Argentinan of Scottish and English heritage is her mother. Her mother's ancestral lineage is Spanish as well as English. Taylor Joy has four siblings. One of them is in each parent's previous marriages. The family lived within Buenos Aires until she was six, after which they moved to the Victoria area in London. Taylor-Joy says that moving into London was difficult and that she was unable to study English so that she could avoid returning to Argentina. Hill House became her school of choice after Taylor-Joy was ordered to move schools. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School where she studied ballet and acted in school plays. Then she dropped out of high school when she was 16 in order in order to concentrate on her acting profession. Taylor-Joy was always aware of her desire to be an actor. The opportunity was offered to her chance to try it by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management, who offered her the opportunity to model.
